After the selling process is done, you have the option to donate your items into the Community. Bella's Closet (Linked Here) or Live Life Breathe's Reaching's Closet Exchange Program. The RCE program ships items to anyone in need in the United States! Shoppers are allowed 2 items per month for free! (See Catalog Here)

Absolutely! We will still try and sell the item and just put the money back into the business! This helps us be one step closer to our completely free shipping initiative in the future!

General

It is a way for you to give back your community while possibly earning a little cash for yourself. We do this by taking the items from your closet and try selling them online, in-person, and at auction. You set your own prices for how much you want to make on each item. *At auction it is possible to make more than your asking price. For our efforts we keep 50% of whatever price you set and you get to keep all the rest as pure profit. Any item that does not sell you have the option to do something nice with it. This is the Reaching’s Closet Exchange Program part. Items that don’t sell you can most certainly have back or you can donate them to our program. People from all over the United States who are in need of clothing can shop you items completely for free on our website. All they have to do is pay shipping. If we raise enough donations, our goal is to be able to do completely free shipping in the future. For clothing that is not what we sell (for example baby clothes) We will take those for free for you to Bella's Closet. Bella's Closet is a local Clarksville non-profit that also gives free clothes to those in need.

Benefit: 

  1. You get to give back to your community and maybe those outside of your community too. 
  2. Can see sales real time and receive a notification daily of your sales
  3. You can see what your payouts will be everyday
  4. I list your items across multiple platforms for you
  5. You never have to leave your house. We can come to you for pickup (small fee for those who are far out *See Zipcodes charges)
  6. Save you time from listing and shipping. I do it all for you
  7. In our 50% we are taking away from you the worry and cost of platform fees, shipping fees/ Supply Costs, and payment processor fees, vendor booth fees and percentage of sales and payout processing fees. 
  8. You can join the auction and watch/ comment on your items being sold live.

We don’t take underwear, socks, bras, shoes, swimwear, children's items/ clothes. We only take men and women’s clothes such as tops, skirts, dresses, jeans etc. However, you can still add these items to your box and we will take them for you for free to Bella's Closet. Bella's Closet is a non-profit we support that also gives free clothes away to those in need. 

Note: Not all items will make it to the show or store. Reasons why could include out of season or an item is too damaged or poor quality.

Process

  1. Fill out a form 
  2. Schedule a pick up or Drop your items off
  3. Items get listed and sold
  4. You get paid
  5. Items get returned for pick up or donated
  6. Items go live for free on website or Items go to Bella’s Closet

Items picked up or dropped off 1st-15th of the month items are separated into 5 price points you can set yourself on your form

*Items listed at a lower price tend to do better at auction. Allow customers to bid on it to get more than you initially wanted.

*Pickups: 1st week of the Month *Please have items out for pickup by 8am. 

  1. Pick ups are priced according to zip codes.
  2. Schedule your item’s pick up and print forms from our website. You can order supplies if you do not already have home boxes, a printer, and taping supplies.
  3. Pickups happen during pick up week. Please leave items outside and they will be picked up sometime that week. (We group pickups in order to give you all free or reduced pickup costs.)
  4. Pack boxes and tape form to the outside of the box on the sides not the top (easier for us to see the box from the road and when the items are stored on the shelves.  
  5. If using a personal box it must be in good condition. It must be able to close. Your items will be stored in these boxes for the entire process and then any unsold items will be returned to you using the same box.
  6. Allow us up to 2 weeks to process the items. (Take pictures and list the items). During this time we will also send you an email with instructions on how to activate your online portal to track your sales.

Drop Offs: 1st-15th of the month

  1. Go to the Refinery on the River during drop off week with your items in boxes
  2. Fill out a form and tape your form to your boxes

  1. During the first 2 weeks of processing in your items we tag each of your items with their own unique barcode correlated to your account. We then take photos of each of your items and we make an entry for the item into our system. This way, in case the tag falls off, we have a photo of the item to match it to the right person. We then put your items back in your box after each show. During the entire process, our processors across all of our selling platforms automatically report your sales to your account.  

We take photos of all of your items in case the tag falls off we can match the picture.

Attach to the outside of your box by taping it (You can buy boxes, forms, and tape from us if needed)

Earnings

  1. Go to https://app.consigncloud.com/login/vendor?storeSlug=reachings-closet-exchange 
  2. Log in with the same email address given to us on your forms
  3. You will be emailed a one time password. Enter that password
  4. You can now set a new password for your account. Typically found under your log in action items. 
  5. In your dashboard you can filter to see when your sales were made and what items for what price point. 
  6. To see your commission for each item go to Menu > Inventory > Item Sales

The first and the 15th of every month

Payouts are emailed to you (via the email on your form) the 1st and the 15th of every month if you have a payout. When you receive that email, you have the option of printing your check so that you can cash it in person or do direct deposit. You also have the option to ACH it directly to your bank account. This option may take up to 3 business days to show in your account.
